Re: ARTS & CRAFTS TEASET marked silver K Y

A Big thank you to all for the information. The rising sun made me think possibly Japanese.....i also looked at the K Y as Kentucky but guess thats far stretched as i know so little about American silver.

Have a great weekend

Perhas French fromm the markings but not 100% sure

Hi all I have found this delightful little teapot where the lid opens from the side. To the inner spout there are many holes for the strainer. A similar mark i saw under French silver but not exactly the same. Hoping someone could be of help or point me in a direction where i can do further research...

Re: WMF Trophy and cover

Hi Diana

Thank you so much for the image as well as the catalogue.
Interesting that they have no designer to this Pokal....but as y<you say perhaps they just turned production out by the thousands.

Re: WMF Trophy and cover

Hello Trev.....

Thanks for looking and the reply.

The last mark to the right....somehow i remember was to do with a commissioned piece that was gilded...or something to that effect.
Its the intertwined letters that intrigue me.

regards

]Hi there

Has the usual marks as seen in pic.
The interior is gilded and the cover has an Ivory finial.
