Re: If it's Friday 13th it must be France.

Hi Dinio, Thanks for taking the time to look at the images. I've managed to get my digital microscope working and hopefully these are better pictures. Salad servers

Hello Everybuddy,

Hope you can help with the marks on these salad servers. They measure 280mm long and have a European feel to them, marks are identical on both pieces.

Re: I NEED HELP ON THE MARKING ????

Hi Dominic,

Just a quick thought that your item has to be later than 1891 as there's no duty head mark on it.

Re: Pre 1886 silver

Hi Silverport,

Wow! That's some information, thank you for your very comprehensive report.

You say it's an early mark, can you give me some idea of how early.

Thanks again for your input.

A lion, a hammer and a crown

Hi All,

I have tried to pin down the history of this hallmark but have been unsuccessful. The item is a teaspoon of avaerage length and composition.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Thank you

Re: Can anybody help with the mark "AP"

A better image might help with identification.

The animal above the letters looks like a poodle. Don't know the mark, but I'm sure somebody will.

Pre 1886 silver

I recently purchased the illustrated item, a large spoon, but have been unable to identify the maker or town. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
