I am probably way wrong, but my first thoughts on seeing the marks, they look similar to German Hanau pseudo marks.

Actually, just had a play with adblockplus, disconnect, popup blocker, it was disconnect add on that was blocking the images.

That is the first time ever I have seen rivets like that attaching the enamel sections on jewellery brooches, sweetheart brooches and military badges.

Need help with Dittrich Chile mark
Picked up a cute little piece the other day, I just need help with the marks, the dealer had it down as Dittrich and Silberfeld, but the only name present is Dittrich on the piece and Chile. Googling also only shows both names together, so is this the same Dittrich, if so, was this pre or post Silbe...

I think I have juyst found it, Peter Nordbeck, a Canadian silversmith. Seems strange then on this spoon the lion is facing the opposite direction when on the examples shown the lion is left facing.

Got a job lot of spoons yesterday and there is one mustard spoon, Georgian in style (fiddle pattern) that has a makers mark of PN a right facing lion and a sideways anchor. I know the marks are imitating English hallmarks, but i'm not sure if they are colonial or (more likely) Chinese in origin. I d...
