I am probably way wrong, but my first thoughts on seeing the marks, they look similar to German Hanau pseudo marks.

Thanks, Trev, looking at John James Whiting's mark, I agree, it certainly looks the same.

Thomas Wallis or not Thomas Wallis? Help needed please

I am not 100% if the mark on this spoon is for Thomas Wallis or not. It hallmarked for London 1836.
Thanks in advance.

I only replied with who the maker was, as you did not mention them in your initial post. Apologies for my contribution that was not needed.

That is the first time ever I have seen rivets like that attaching the enamel sections on jewellery brooches, sweetheart brooches and military badges.

Need help with Dittrich Chile mark

Picked up a cute little piece the other day, I just need help with the marks, the dealer had it down as Dittrich and Silberfeld, but the only name present is Dittrich on the piece and Chile. Googling also only shows both names together, so is this the same Dittrich, if so, was this pre or post Silbe...

Re: PN and right facing lion marks for ID please

I think I have juyst found it, Peter Nordbeck, a Canadian silversmith. Seems strange then on this spoon the lion is facing the opposite direction when on the examples shown the lion is left facing.

PN and right facing lion marks for ID please
