Russian marks? Fake or real?

Russian, Latvian etc marks always confuse me (a bit of a minefield), so I am asking here for clarification as to whether these are Russian marks, fake or real, as I have no idea, sorry. Would be nice to label this correctly in my spoon collection. They are on the side of a spoon handle http://i68.ti...

Re: Salt spoon, possible duty dodger - WE makers mark

I already checked through Phil's site, but with too many similar WE marks, it is not possible to determine who the maker was so far.

Thanks for your reply, I will have another look around on the web when I get more time later today.

Salt spoon, possible duty dodger - WE makers mark

Found this spoon today whilst walking the dog. It is a fiddle and thread salt spoon, with only WE on the back of the handle, I am wondering if this might be a duty dodger and if so, who is the maker? Thanks in advance http://i65.tinypic.com/iwusci.jpg http://i63.tinypic.com/1232yvo.jpg http://i63.ti...

Maker Identification on Sterling spoon

Might be a long shot this one, I have been through the pictorial American marks, but not confident enough to find who may have made this spoon. Showing the marks present, the handle and spoon bowl, in case that helps with the identification. Any help would be appreciated. http://i66.tinypic.com/2s9r...

London importer maker mark ID please

I have a German .930 silver spoon, German maker Richard Garten. I have looked for the import mark on here, Phil's site and another site, but I have not been able to find it. The date of the spoon is 1890. Showing both sets of marks, the German marks for reference. http://i65.tinypic.com/2hdnq6r.jpg ...

Re: Maker / importer ID of salt spoon

Interesting theory and you could be on to something. I have had one spoon with the MA and tree mark on before, I think I remember posting it on here back then, it was a few years ago.
