Re: Christopher Dresser Design? Silver Coffee/Hot Water Pot

Hi, belatedly seen your post. Given that is in the 1890’s and for Heath and Middleton there is every chance it is Dresser but there seem to be no records to prove that. As an attribution many Dresser collectors would not accept it. Hi. Sorry for the late response. I just saw you answered my old que...

Re: Unknown Hallmarks WWII Cig Case

Unfortunately tinypi, which was a most reliable photo hosting site, has ceased operations and many, many images which have been posted on these forums have been lost forever. You will note that the original poster (OP) has only posted 3 times, all of them to this thread so it is highly unlikely tha...

The bottom is marked: 12511 The Maker is Middleton and Heath. I like the mechanism, which I havent seen yet before. The Design looks a little like Dresser...

Re: Silver Coffee Tea Set Deco with Tray 5 pieces

Hi Bahner, thanks for your comment. I suggested or thought it might be denmark as it has the spheres/grapes.... Similar to Gran and Legyle and co....although then it didnt have the 3 towers denmark hallmarks..which then might make it german again :):):) Maybe somebody else here in the group has an o...

Cigarette Lighter French? Silver & Gold Art Deco

Hi, I purchased this small ladies lighter the other day. It should be French, as I have seen two very similiar models which were made a). by Boucheron an b). by VCA. It might have been a complete set or part of a minaudiere. I cant make out the hallmarks. Also what material is it? Solid Silver and g...

Match Safe several Hallmarks german silver

Hello, a friend of mine has this match safe. It was made by Kuppenheim. I cant identify the last two hallmarks. I have seen this mark on other pieces to, especially the triangle mark. Is this maybe the import mark for Birmingham? http://cdn04.trixum.de/upload2/153800/153750/2/27ff5d2215c263c3bdd0ad2...
