Rescanned hallmark

Image
Thanks everyone for the info. I'm still not positive about the date.
I've rescanned the hallmark to make it larger. I think the "x" is really an "r".
Any thoughts.[/url]

Does anyone know who this manufacturer is? Also can you verify the date. I believe it is 1891. Thanks in advance.

Help with date and mark on Birmingham sterling bookmark

I'm having a problem identifying the maker D&LS, and I am also unsure of the date. The font for character n tells me 1887 but the shape of the shield is not right. http://www.silverbookmarks.com/unknown/DLS1.jpg http://www.silverbookmarks.com/unknown/DLS2.jpg http://www.silverbookmarks.com/bookm...

Help with unknown mark E.H. & Co. on sterling bookmark

Does anyone know of this company? I'm not even sure it's American. The shape of the bookmark blades are very much like ones I have from England. http://www.silverbookmarks.com/unknown/EHCo446_1.jpg http://www.silverbookmarks.com/unknown/EHCo446_2.jpg http://www.silverbookmarks.com/bookmarks/bm446.jp...

Does anyone know what company this is from? I can't quite make out the first letter. It looks like an X but it may not be. Any help would be appreciated.

Another unknown makers mark on a silver bookmark

This is hopefully an easy one to identify. I found something similar on the web which the seller said was a Napoleon III Sterling desk writing set. I was wondering what the CM and depose are. http://www.silverbookmarks.com/bookmarks/mark003.jpg http://www.silverbookmarks.com/bookmarks/bm0003.jpg Tha...

Thank you kerangoumar. As far as I can tell, it is a maple leaf with the letter
E inside. It is very small and hard to see even with a loop.

Unknown hallmark on silver bookmark

Yet another bookmark I have with an unknown hallmark. It could be Canadian. On the blade is written Victoria BC. At the top there is a crest made of enamel. The inscription, "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" means 'evil to him who evil thinks' in old Norman French. It is finished in a gold wash ...
